Encuadrado entro del metal de perfiles extremos pero con influencias progresivas, los franceses comenzaron su trayectoria en 1996 con el nombre de Godzilla, en 2011 debieron cambiarlo por temas de derechos y lo modificaron a Gojira.
Con una alineación integrada por los hermanos Duplantier, Mario (batería) y Joe (voz y guitarra), el bajista Jean-Michel Labadie y el guitarrista Christian Andreu, que se ha mantenido unida desde sus inicios, la trayectoria de Gojira tuvo un importante impulso en 2008 cuando publicaron The Way Of All Flesh, consolidada cuatro años después con la edición de L’Enfant Sauvage. En el año 2012 también se editó el DVD The Flesh Alive.
Entre los temas que están presentando en su set list destacan, “Explosia”, “Flying Whales”, “Liquid Fire”, “L’Enfant Sauvage”, “Remembrance”, “Oroborus”, “Vacuity” y “The Gift Of Guilt”, entre otros.
Como banda invitada actuará Hypno5e, asimismo francesa y en una línea de de metal experimental.
